In 2018, Maral Farsi was appointed as the Deputy Director for Legislative and Inter-Governmental Affairs. Maral Farsi has devoted the majority of her studies and career to policy and government, which is why past California Governor, Jerry Brown decided she would be a good fit for the position. She has received two master’s in law and public health from the University of the Pacific and UCLA, respectively. She is from Sacramento and previously was the regional director of governmental affairs at CVS Health. Maral Farsi’s experience and connections will help her to be successful in this new position.
